Galaxy Scientific and Khagol Vishwa have made available special Solar Goggles to view Annular Solar Eclipse on 15 January, 2010. The Filter in these goggles allow only 0.003% of visible spectrum of the Sun to reach to our eyes. 99.99% of Infrared and Ultra Violet rays are eleminated by this film. It reduces Sun's intensity by 67000 times, making the Sun appear like the Moon. This makes this double layered alluminized Mylar Filter the most safe method to look at the Sun directly.

Price: Rs. 18/- per Goggle
For school students: Rs 15/- per Goggle.

Do's and Do not's

1. Always wear or hold the goggle in front of your eyes, while looking at the Sun.

2. Even through goggle, never look at the Sun for more than 10 seconds.

3. If the Film of the goggle is torn or there are holes, then do not look at the Sun through them.

4. Never try to look at Sun through Binoculars or Telescope without using appropriate filters.

5. Never look at Sun through CD, Blackened Glass, Film etc. It might damage your eyes. Always use the goggles especially made to view Sun.

These goggles will be made available in market two months prior to the date of solar eclipse. Contact us at ramayuresh@gmail.com for more information.
