On 24th Night, around 200 astronomy lovers, amateur astronomers celebrated Galilean nights at Pusane, Tal. Mawal
in an event organized by Khagol Vishwa in co-ordination with Vishwa Scientific and Rotary Club, Chinchwad.
The hightlights of the event were Celebration of International Year of Astronomy, Closest approch of Jupiter,
Jupiter along with its Galilean Satellites, Moon, Saturn, Star Clusters, Nebulae through telescope, Slidw show
explaning Galileos work and the revolutionary changes it made to the science and a Slide show about
Comets and Meteor Showers as there was a Orionid Meteor Shower activity at the night. There was also a session for
Sky night introduction to Participants.
